On the 2nd of March, Raya FMCG signed an agreement with USAID's Workforce Egypt Project.

The agreement revolved around setting a training program for people of the Egyptian workforce within all departments. In addition to that, USAID will provide Raya FMCG with support in the recruitment process in order to find and train the best talent for the team.

The event took place in Raya Holding'س headquarters in Sheikh Zayed, Egypt and hosted 3 speakers; Karim Abdel Badee, Raya FMCG's HR head and manager, Mohamed Fawzy, Deputy Chief of Party/TVET Reform Technical Lead at USAID-Workforce Egypt project, and finally, Raya FMCG's CEO, Gamal Hussein.

The attendees included the USAID team; Ms. Laura Gonzales, the Director, Economic Growth Office, Dr. Rasha Abdel Hakim, the Senior Economic Counselor, Mr. Joseph Ghanem, the Chief of Party, Mr. Mohamed Fawzy, the Deputy Chief of Party, Mr. Walid Qorish, the Private Sector Support Program's Technical Lead, Ms. May Shawky, the Communications Senior Manager, Ms. Wafaa Bekhit, the Senior 3R Advisor, Ms. Dina Ali, the Senior Employment & Labor Skill Advisor, and finally, Mr. Gamal Mohamed, the employment specialist.

“This isn't just an agreement to us, this is a great step in shaping the future of the company as well as the Egyptian workforce,” stated Gamal Hussein, Raya FMCG's CEO.
